WE BELIEVE IN BALANCED TRAINING. CONSEQUENCES, BOTH NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE, ARE REQUIRED FOR A CALM AND BALANCED DOG. WE DO USE TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, TREATS, AND PHYSICAL REWARDS TO ENCOURAGE PROPER BEHAVIORS
Welcome to Job 12:10 Sanctuary, a non-profit 501(c)(3), where compassion meets commitment in the world of animal welfare.
Our mission is clear—to rescue, train, and rehome dogs, giving them a second chance at a happy and healthy life. So many dogs find themselves returned to shelters due to their adopters realizing they lack the skills and resources to train. Here at Job 12:10 Sanctuary, we want to change that narrative. When you choose to adopt a dog from us, you're not just giving a home to a shelter dog—you're eliminating the guesswork. We offer a comprehensive support network and educational resources to guarantee the success of both you and your new companion.
Whether you're looking to adopt a new family member, volunteer your time, or make a donation, your support makes a big difference. Thank you for considering Job 12:10 Sanctuary as your partner in making a difference in the lives of dogs in need.
Hi there! My name is Emily Ashabranner (right), and I am a professional dog trainer based in central Texas with over 13 years of experience. I have always had a passion for dogs, and I love nothing more than experiencing the blessing of working with dogs and turning their lives around for the better. After starting our dog training business, Family K9 Services, I still felt my heart pulled towards the shelter dogs that don't get the opportunity to receive well-rounded training and a chance at a better, love-filled life. Through this organization, I hope to bless not only dogs in need but also families in need of a loving, reliable pet.
My cousin Miriam Gustafson (left) has been a huge help and encouragement in starting our business and keeping us organized and moving forward. She is 20 years old and taking a gap year from pursuing her nursing degree. Miriam has a special passion for dogs as well as horses and cats. She has found her own dog through the Sanctuary and is thrilled for her new adventure partner. Miriam is dedicated to learning everything she can about the training and caretaking processes of dogs.
We currently have five dogs of our own on property: Ēostrea, Atlas, Chloe, Einar, and Mazy. Four of which are listed on our sister business' (Family K9 Services) website 'Gallery' page. The fifth dog, Mazy, is camera shy, but we love her just the same.
